SRM University-AP is set to host its prestigious 4th Convocation Ceremony on September 02, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the academic journeys of its students. This prestigious event, known for its academic grandeur, will witness the participation of eminent personalities and distinguished guests.
The university is honoured to welcome Padma Bhushan Senapathy Kris Gopalakrishnan, a renowned Indian entrepreneur, philanthropist, and co-founder of Infosys, as the Chief Guest for the occasion. Currently serving as the Chairman of Axilor Ventures, Dr Gopalakrishnan is celebrated for his exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the Indian IT industry.
Joining the esteemed guest list is Mr Rohit Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer of Food Marketplace at Swiggy. His presence as a Guest of Honour adds to the event’s prestige, reflecting the university’s commitment to fostering industry-academia collaborations.
The Convocation Ceremony will also be graced by the august presence of Founder Chancellor Dr T R Paarivendhar, SRM Group of Institutions; Pro-Chancellor Dr P Sathyanarayanan, SRM University-AP; Vice Chancellor Prof. Manoj K Arora; Registrar Dr R Premkumar; Members of the Governing Body and Board of Management; Deans of all schools, Faculties and Staffs of the Varsity.
Students and their families are travelling from across India and around the globe to partake in this momentous occasion. The ceremony will celebrate the culmination of years of hard work and dedication, with a total of 1,018 graduands, including 24 PhD scholars. Among them, 18 Gold Medalists, 5 Silver Medalists, and 5 Bronze Medalists will be recognised for their outstanding achievements.
