The ongoing “Skill Development Program” under the “Peer to Peer Learning” initiative in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Shobhit University ended successfully on 14th July, 2021. The program was inaugurated by With the blessings of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Amar Pratap Garg. While praising the students, he said that in today’s date, skill is valued and it is a good thing that our students are diligently increasing their skills day by day. He also said that this program is unique in itself because in this program student teaches & provide training to the other students.
Mr. Tanishk Chandra, a student of B.Tech, Computer Science, gave training to all the other students as an instructor. With the help of this program, the students got training in Basic Python Programming and Apps Development using Flutter. On the last day of the program, students showed the apps developed by them, which includes Age Calculator, Word Seeker, Corona Tracker, Crypto Ranking, Geeta etc.. The enthusiasm of the students was at its peak while showing the app. In the end, An appreciation letter was given to Mr. Tanishk Chandra by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Amar Pratap Garg for his commendable contribution and certificates were given to all the participants. The organizer of the program Mr Rajesh Pandey told that such programs will be held twice in every year and students will be able to make good projects on different skills.
Dean engineering Dr. Shashi Singh, Registrar Dr. Mitranand Bahuguna, Head of Department Dr. Mamta Bansal, Avinav Pathak, Dr. Vijay Maheshwari, Pawan Kumar, Rajiv Kumar and all faculty of School of Engineering and Technology were present during the program.
