NEET-UG 2024: The petition pertaining to the cases relating to the alleged paper leak and associated irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2024 exam, has been adjourned for hearing today. The Supreme Court has made it clear that the next hearing in the case associated with NEET 2024, is due on July 18. Let us tell you that the bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Justice Manoj Mishra will hear the petition filed in the cases pertaining to NEET.

The Supreme Court has ordered the hearing, due on the petition filed in the cases relating to alleged paper leak and irregularities in NEET Exam 2024, now on 18 July.
Supreme Court Seeks Affidavit from Centre and NTA Amid NEET Paper Leak Allegations
On X (Previously Twitter) one person wrote, “Time has come to introduce major changes in Judiciary for speedy and efficient disposal of cases. Such an important case needed swift and decisive action by the Hon’ble SC.” Another person said, “How do students trust the NTA again?” One person replied, “Tareekh pe tareekh tareekh pe tareekh!”
While hearing the case related to NEET paper leak, the Supreme Court requested to file an affidavit to Central Government and the National Testing Agency. SC has said that re-test is the last resort and it can be held again only if the entire examination process has been affected. The Centre has filed an affidavit in the backdrop of the SC order. In the affidavit, the Centre has tried to make it clear that there is no largescale irregularity in the NEET examination. The centre argued that the results of NEET-UG 2024 conducted by IIT Madras was studied by the experts and no irregularities were found in it.
