Significant action has been taken by the Supreme Court in response to the reported paper leak in the NEET-UG 2024 test. The Court set the hearing for July 8 and sent notices on seven petitions contesting the way the exam was administered. A inquiry into the purported leak by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is demanded in one of these petitions.
Supreme Court Notice on NEET Paper Leak
The NEET-UG 2024 test has raised concerns, and the Supreme Court has addressed these issues by responding to many petitions that questioned the exam’s credibility. The Court issued notice to NTA and combined the hearing of these petitions on July 8 in response to the claims of a paper leak.
CBI Probe Requested
A request for a CBI inquiry into the alleged paper leak is included in the applications. This request for an inquiry highlights the seriousness of the charges and the requirement for a thorough investigation to maintain the integrity of the examination process.
Transfer of Delhi High Court Petition
The National Testing Agency (NTA) petition was one of the petitions that the Supreme Court has acknowledged in addition to the petitions about the paper leak. This petition seeks, the Delhi High Court’s ongoing case concerning the purported paper leak is to be transferred. Along with the other petitions, the Supreme Court has ordered that this matter be heard on July 8.
