Tamil Nadu 10th Class Results 2024: At a press conference today, May 10, the Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) announced the highly awaited SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) results. The official scorecards can now be downloaded at the dge.tn.nic.in or TNDGE websites (https://tnresults.nic.in/).
Overall Pass Percentage Increases
Students should be pleased that this year’s total pass percentage of 91.55% represents a modest gain. This represents a good trend, up from 91.39% in the previous year and 90.07% in 2022.
Girls Continue to Outperform Boys
The outcomes demonstrate the outstanding achievement of Tamil Nadu’s female population once more. Girls obtained an astounding 94.53% total pass rate, which is far higher than boys’ 88.58%. However, the girls’ performance decreased a bit from 94.66% the previous year.
Top Performing Districts and Remarkable Improvement
This year, Ariyalur district triumphed over Perambalur, the top district of previous year. Sivagangai and Ramanathapuram came in second and third place, respectively, not far behind.
Subject-Wise Performance and Stellar Scores
Subject-by-subject analysis shows outstanding results in a number of domains. Tamil had an astounding 96.85%, with English coming in second at a startling 99.15%. With 96.78%, Math at 96.78% and was not far behind Science and Social Science, which scored 96.72% and 95.74%, respectively. A small number of students this year even received perfect scores: 8 in Tamil, 415 in English, an astounding 20691 in Mathematics, 5104 in Science, and 4428 in Social Science.
Revaluation Process and Online Results
Tomorrow is when the revaluation process will start. Students can use their roll code and roll number to view their results online. It’s crucial to remember that the mark sheets available online are preliminary, and the official ones will be provided by the institutions at a later time.
