Private University are working out on the academic calendar admission procedure. While the central and state universities awaiting for UGC ( University grants Commission) guidelines.
The admission process has now fully shifted online mostly through artificial intelligence proctored entrance test.
And private universities will also conduct live interviews.
Classes are likely to start from August. And on the basis of covid-19 situation, the universities will for the decide the classes will be online or offline.
Also the university will cross-check students class 12 scores.
“It will become India’s first and only law entrance exam to be entirely online, AI-enabled remote-proctored,” said an official.
Rupamanjari Ghosh, vice-chancellor of Shiv Nadar, said, “We are committed to ensuring that students continue their education without interruption during these difficult times.
Nandkumar Dhake vice president of Bennett University said “If they have class 12 scores, they can secure admission with PCM ( physics, chemistry and mathematics) scores. Even if there are students with no board exam results and they come to us with pre board exam scores, we will provide them provisionals admissions with our 60% eligibility criteria”‘.
Ashoka University has decided to conduct orientation day on August 24. While the classes will begin from August 31.
“Classes will be online till mid semester break, which begins on October 10. The decision on holding online of physical classes will be taken closer at that time”, said Ashoka University spokesperson.
