In the second allocation round, the University will be doing extra allocations to fill the seats optimally so that the Academic Session may begin from August 29, 2024.
As per the policy of the University, in the second round, all candidates who were rejected in Round-I due to invalid certificates/documents have been reconsidered in the UR category as per their merit and preference, subject to the availability of seats.
The University of Delhi has improved the workflow for admitted candidates who have been upgraded to another seat in the Second Round. The allocation for candidates who received an upgrade will be directly activated for processing at the college level. This feature will reduce grievances, which the University used to receive every year from candidates who missed taking action on their upgraded seats. Since the new allocation of already admitted candidates will be active, the colleges will be able to process the applications as soon as they are allocated. Such candidates must keep checking their dashboard for the payment of differential fees, if any. Admission to upgraded seats will be considered complete only after the successful realization of the admission fees.
Candidates who have been shortlisted in Round-II are advised to log in to their dashboard and accept the allocation by 04:59 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, and will be able to submit the fees until 04:59 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024. Only candidates who make the payment will be able to opt for an “Upgrade” in the subsequent round.
The University will declare the allocations for Performance-based programs and Supernumerary quotas of CW, ECA, Sports, and Ward in the Third Round of allocations. The schedule for the third round will be declared soon. Candidates must visit the University’s admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) regularly for all updates.
