Uttar Pradesh: On Friday, a Dalit girl was beaten up and thrashed by an ex-pradhan for not wearing a uniform in school. The former Pradhan is identified as Manoj Kumar Dubey, the police said.

Dubey goes to school every single day and misbehaves with teachers and children. The accused Monday questioned the girl for not wearing a uniform, the girl was a student of class 8 of a government school, Girija Shankar Yadav, Chauri Police station in-charge said.
To which, the victim replied as she will be wearing it after her father buys it for her, said the police officer. Hearing the girl’s statement, ex-pradhan started beating her in the class, used casteist taunts, and thrashed her out of the school, he added.

Girl’s mother registered a case against the former pradhan. The case has been filed under intimidation and the Scheduled castes, Tribes (prevention of atrocities), the police are on the search to arrest Manoj, the police station in-charge said.
