Cold wave has started in North India. Due to this, suddenly the mercury level has run towards the frozen point. Its direct effect has also been on the common life. The blanket of fog has covered the whole of North India. Due to this, the opening time of schools in Uttar Pradesh (UP School Timing) has been changed. While the schools will open from 10 am in the state capital Lucknow, the district administration has issued orders to open schools from 9 am in Noida and Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi, at the local level. In Unnao and Hathras districts too, orders have been given to open schools from 10 am.
Till now schools were opening between 7 am to 8.30 am
Due to the effect of heat till now in Uttar Pradesh, schools were being opened early in the morning. In most cities, schools were being opened between 7 am and 8.30 am, while the timings of the holiday also varied accordingly. Now schools everywhere will be opened a little late according to the cold wave.
In most of the cities, the new school time table has been implemented from December 21, while in some places new timings will be implemented from December 22. In many districts, the administration has still not issued an order to change the timing.
There is yellow alert regarding cold in 36 districts of the state
The level of cold is continuously increasing in Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding cold in 36 districts of the state. The mercury level is likely to go down further in the state in the next few days, due to which the cold wave conditions will worsen and there will be more fog than before.
The new time table has not only changed in the state government or private schools, but the timing of the commencement of studies has also changed in the madrasas of the state. UP Madarsa Parishad has ordered to open all the schools affiliated to it from 9 am to 3 pm.
