West Bengal School Reopening Update: Preparations are underway to reopen schools in West Bengal. Schools are being reopened from 16 November. Only two days are left for the school to open, in such a situation all the arrangements of the schools are fine or not, the education department is taking check of every school. School campuses will be opened after almost more than 1 year. Guidelines for opening schools have been issued by the Education Department. It is mandatory to strictly follow the rules of Corona in schools. Social distancing including masks should be followed, work should be done on all these scales.
As per the recent updates, the School Education Department has asked the schools not to force any student to come to the school. The decision to send students to schools should be left to the parents/guardians only. Online classes are going on, students have both offline and online options.

According to a report in PTI, some school students in Kolkata may be asked to come to the campus only for practical sessions. With this, they will continue to teach in online mode but will call back the students for practical experience.
The Government of West Bengal had announced the opening of schools and colleges-universities from class IX to 12 in the state from November 16 after the reduction in corona cases. But against this decision of the state government, a petition in the Calcutta High Court .was filed and sought quashing of the notification issued by the state government, but the Calcutta High Court completely rejected the petitioner’s appeal.
