Abhishek Bachchan is busy promoting his highly appreciated film ‘Ghoomer‘ these days. The film opened to positive reviews from the audience and critics and collected 0.85 crore net on Day 1 (August 18). Talking about the actor’s personal life, he often praises his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Abhishek has also appreciated the way she handles her work and home. Abhishek Bachchan recently shared in an interview how Aishwarya handles him when he goes home angry or annoyed.
Abhishek said Aishwariya reminds him that there are more important things in life to focus on than getting upset over these little things. She explains to him that it is very important to have a happy and healthy family.
Abhishek Bachchan opens up about her wife
Talking on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Abhishek said, “You can come back and you can be irritated about anything. You know nowadays if you’re in Mumbai you’re irritated about the traffic also. And sometimes she’s like, ‘What are you getting so hyper about? Calm down, you know there are more important things? You’ve come home and you have a healthy happy family.”
The ‘Ghoomer’ actor further added, “I remember once she said this to me and it really hit me. This was during Covid, my father, my wife, my daughter and I were all in hospital at the same time. Slowly we got discharged one by one and I was the last one to come home. I was in hospital for almost a month and when I came back home, she said, ‘You know we’re so lucky that we’re all still here. There’s so many families that have been ravaged by Covid and we’re very lucky and what’s more important.”
“Whenever I’m asked, ‘Oh, how’s the family?’ I say, ‘They’re healthy.’ She just puts those priorities into place and I think it was amazing for her to say when I thought about it,” he concluded.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan started dating each other during the shooting of the film ‘Guru’. In 2007, the two married each other in a grand wedding in the presence of family and friends. The marriage of both had gathered a lot of limelight at that time. Aishwarya gave birth to daughter Aaradhya Bachchan in 2011.
