Actor Rakul Preet Singh summoned by ED in drugs-related money laundering case

Rakul Preet Singh: Bollywood actors are on the target of Enforcement Directorate in different drugs-related and money laundering cases. Recently, Jacqueline Fernandez got bailed from the court and she was found no-guilty. ED is summoning the actors continuously for their involvement in different cases. Now, Bollywood actor Rakul Preet Singh has been summoned by the Probe Agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a drugs-related money laundering case, officials told this information on Friday.

Rakul Preet Singh called for questioning on December 19

The agency has investigated other members of the Telegu film industry earlier in the case and now they asked Rakul Preet to be present for the investigation into an alleged money laundering case. She is called for questioning on December 19. Along with the Thank God star, ED has summoned Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy for questioning in MLA poaching case. BRS MLA has given his statement just three days ago to Special Investigation Team (SIT). He was also presented in the party hosted in Bengaluru three years ago and reportedly drugs was used in the party.

The actress was also summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in 2020 in connection with the drug-related death of Sushant Singh Rajput. She was called in because of her chats with Rhea Chakraborty. According to reports, Rakul admitted conversing with Rhea and stated that the pills were intended for Rhea. She has also denied ever using narcotics in her life.
