Adipurush dialogues: Adipurush starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon has been receiving flak from audiences and critics alike with many calling the film’s dialogues ‘cringe-worthy’. Following the severe backlash, the makers recently announced to revise the dialogues from the film. One of the dialogues that irked viewers the most from the film was Lord Hanuman telling Indrajeet ‘Jalegi bhi were baap ki’. Someone with the strata of Lord Hanuman using such language has not gone down well with the audience, forcing makers to revise dialogues.
‘Jalegi Tere Baap Ki’ dialogue revised
Adipurush has been brutally trolled for its dialogues and VFX. The makers recently promised the audience to release a revised version of the film with better dialogue. A clip of the same from the theatres has now gone viral.
The viral clip shows that makers have replaced the ‘Jalegi Tere Baap Ki’ dialogue from Adipurush with “Kapda teri Lanka ka, tel teri Lanka ka, aag bhi tere Lanka ki, jalega bhi teri Lanka hi.”
Makers’ statement
The makers of Adipurush recently released a statement saying ‘valuing the input of the public and the audience ‘ some dialogues from the film will be revised. A statement issued by the film’s team says, “Adipurush is garnering an overwhelming response across the world and is conquering hearts of audiences across all ages. Making this visual spectacle a memorable cinematic experience, the team decides to make alterations to the film’s dialogues –Valuing the input of the public and the audience.”
It was further added, “The makers are revisiting the said dialogues, ensuring to resonate with core essence of the film and the same will reflect in the theaters in the next few days. This decision is a testament that in spite of unstoppable collections at the Box Office ,the team is committed and nothing is beyond the sentiments of their audiences and harmony at large.”

Adipurush, helmed by Om Raut, features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan. The film, which was released on June 16, recorded an astounding box office opening day collection with the first-day numbers standing at Rs 140 crore. However, the film failed to pass the crucial Monday test, raking in only Rs 20 crore on its first weekday. It remains to be seen how the revision in dialogues will meet with appreciation from moviegoers.
