Belisle’s knack for comedy shines through as he capitalises on the silences while he’s typing his jokes, building an exciting tension in the audience. As he says, “I think people enjoy watching me laugh at my own joke that I’m writing.” His witty remarks even extend to his service dog, whom he claims is trained to tackle any unruly hecklers.
Belisle’s comedic repertoire ranges from poking fun at his disability to his French heritage. He uses different voices from his phone app to add variety to his act, mimicking various characters to deliver his jokes. He enhances his performance with expressive body language, creating a full-fledged, interactive comic routine.

Simon Cowell lauded Belisle as “funny and fearless” while admiring his beautiful service dog. He proclaimed, “It was just a great, great audition.” Sofia Vergara expressed hope that Belisle might be the comedian who finally clinches the AGT win.
Howie Mandel, fellow comedian and judge, remarked, “You seem to have a grasp of timing and humour. You open up the conversation and normalize humanity and originality, and you’re funny.” He concluded with a prediction that Belisle might soon bid farewell to his engineering career to become a full-time performer.
