Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: The makers of PS1 are working very hard to promote Director Mani Ratnam’s ambitious and historical Project. Recently, the cast of Ponniyin Selvan including Vikram, Karthim Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi and Sobhita Dhulipia appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s absence raised several questions because she has an important role in the film. As the pictures and videos of the Ponniyin Selvan cast posing with Kapil Sharma went viral on internet, fans started speculating the reason behind Aishwarya missed the show.
AR Rahman also missed the show
Many people felt that since The Kapil Sharma Show is produced by Actor Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan apparently decided not to go on the show as she had a bitter past with Dabangg Khan. However, it has been reported that Aishwarya was reportedly busy with her important commitments to promote her film somewhere else. AR Rahman gave it a miss too.

You can see that makers of the film have been promoting their films in various cities of the country to get a wider reach for the film. So, it is very reasonable for Aishwarya to miss appearing on the comedy show because of her busy promotional schedule.
