Ajay Devgn birthday: Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is celebrating his birthday today. The actor made his debut with Phool Aur Kaante in 1991. In his illustrious career spanning over three decades, the actor has featured in over 100 films. Maintaining his superstardom right from his first film, Ajay Devgn tried an aced every genre from comedy to action.
Today, to mark his birthday, we are listing his top five films.
Drishyam
Starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Sriya Saran in the leading role. This Nishikant Kamat directorial is one of the best thrillers of all time. The film sees Ajay Devgan as a common man Vijay who has one goal – to protect his family. Drishyam 2 was released last year.
Singham
Singham stars Ajay Devgan as a rowdy police officer with a heart of gold. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is first instalment in director’s Cop Universe. Singham 2 is currently in works.
Tanhaji
The film is a historical action film directed by Om Raut. It also stars Kajol and Saif Ali Khan. Tanhaji revolved around Tanaji’s attempts to recapture the Kondhana fortress after its Mughal takeover.
Shivaay
Written and produced by himself, Shivaay stars Ajay Devgan as a skilled mountaineer who makes a living by providing treks and climbing. The film is a commercial as well as critical success.
Bholaa
Bholaa is a remake of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi. The film stars Devgn in the titular role alongside Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao and Vineet Kumar. It also has special appearances from Amala Paula and Abhishek Bachchan. Ajay Devgn stars as a prisoner in the film who goes into a different journey after being released for his daughter’s sake.
