However, the excitement of the crowd soon turned into chaos when a large number of attendees, mostly youths from nearby villages, began pushing and shoving near the barricades in their attempt to get closer to the stage.
The situation quickly became unmanageable, forcing the police to use force, including a baton charge, to bring things under control. Despite several announcements from the stage asking the crowd to cooperate, the disorder continued to escalate. The viral video from the event shows Akshara Singh herself appealing to the crowd, urging them to calm down and not cause any trouble, but her requests went unheeded.
Pushing, Shoving and Barricade Breaches in Azamgarh Lead to Police Action
The commotion began when the main area at the event in Azamgarh was filled to capacity by the evening. Eager to catch a glimpse of Akshara Singh, many fans stood near the barricades. The pushing and shoving intensified, and the situation worsened when some people started throwing shoes and sandals toward the stage. In the midst of this chaos, the police were compelled to intervene several times to restore order.

Just a few months earlier, in January 2024, a similar situation unfolded in Aurangabad, Bihar, during another event featuring Akshara Singh. An overwhelming crowd had gathered, causing security concerns and eventually leading to stone pelting and injuries to police officers. These incidents highlight a recurring issue at events featuring Akshara Singh – the overwhelming number of fans combined with inadequate security arrangements.
The immense popularity of bhojpuri superstars like Khesari Lal Yadav, Pawan Singh and Akshara Singh is undeniable. Fans from all over flock to see their favorite Bhojpuri superstar in person. However, the lack of proper security measures at these events often leads to haotic situations. Crowds frequently grow far larger than anticipated, leaving the organizers and law enforcement struggling to maintain control. With Akshara Singh’s fan base continually growing, managing these events is becoming increasingly difficult, leading to repeated instances of crowd mismanagement.
