In the midst of the recent discussion about changing India’s name to Bharat, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has renamed his upcoming film ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue.’ It was once named ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Indian Rescue.’ The announcement was made alongside the first-look poster for the next flick. It appears that the film’s title has been settled, as the final poster has been released.

Akshay Kumar’s film title has been changed once again amid the internet debate over changing India’s name to Bharat, which was proposed by the government during Parliament’s forthcoming special session. The title of the upcoming film has been altered from ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Indian Rescue’ to ‘Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue.’
The film is based on a true story from the “Raniganj Coalfield” and the brave act of Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill, who led Bharat’s coal mine rescue mission. In November 1989, the courageous Jaswant Singh Gill played a key part in rescuing all surviving miners trapped within a flooded coal mine in Raniganj, resulting in a successful rescue attempt in Bharat against all odds.
