Samrat Prithviraj
One of Akshay Kumar’s recent flops is Samrat Prithviraj. The film was a historical drama based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, one of the greatest rulers of medieval India. The film, which was released in November 2021, failed to impress the audience and received mixed reviews from the critics. Despite having a talented cast and a promising storyline, the film failed to leave a mark at the box office.
Bachchan Pandey
Another film that failed to impress the audience was Bachchan Pandey. The film was a masala entertainer that was released in January 2022. The film, which also starred Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez, failed to create a buzz among the audience and was unable to sustain its box office run.
Ram Setu
Ram Setu, which was historical drama film, failed to impress the audience. The audience felt that the VFX of the film were not to the point and the story also faced backlash from the viewers. Ram Setu received mix reviews. Ram Setu failed to recoup its budget as the film collected only Rs 93 crore worldwide.
While Akshay Kumar is known for his impressive track record at the box office, it is important to remember that not all of his films have been successful. Samrat Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, and Ram Setu are just a few examples of films that failed to leave a mark among the audience. However, with his upcoming releases, Akshay Kumar is all set to bounce back and reclaim his position as one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood.
