Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi are all set for the theatrical release of one of the most anticipated films of 2023, Oh My God 2. The first installment of the film was a blockbuster but it received hate for hurting religious sentiments. The makers are making waves on the internet with the second installment of the film. They recently released the teaser featuring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles. The teaser received a lot of attention and praise on the internet but the CBFC put a hold on the release.
OMG 2 first song Oonchi Oonchi Vaadi
After the success and controversy of the OMG 2 teaser, the makers released the song poster of the first song of the film. In the first installment, Akshay Kumar played the role of Lord Krishna. In the second installment, he will be playing the role of Lord Shiva or his avatar.
The song is sung by Baba Hansraj Raghuwanshi, who is famous for devotional songs of Lord Shiva. He got famous after his song ‘Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari’ made rounds on the internet. The song Oonchi Oonchi Vaadi is all set to release on 18th July on the official YouTube channel of Zee Music Company. The song poster features Pankaj Tripathi hailing Lord Shiva.
The CBFC stopped the release
The Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) put a hold on the movie and they referred the film to Revision Committee for the exact review of the film. However, the latest reports suggest that the CBFC has appointed a panel to review the film ‘Minutely.’ It is set to release on August 11.
