Recently, the actor shared a cryptic post of a special announcement on 9th September. Akshay is all set to bring back the best actor-director duo for a big release. It’s reported that the actor is going to reunite with the director of his famous film Bhool Bhulaiya.
Akshay Kumar to Reunite with Bhool Bhulaiya Director
On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Akshay Kumar shared a post and mentioned “Ganpati Bappa Morya! What could be better than a day like today to hint at something special coming your way? The reveal is set for my birthday. Stay tuned!” According to reports, Akshay Kumar is all set to reunite with his famous film Bhool Bhulaiya’s director Priyadarshan. Their upcoming film is also going to be a horror-comedy film. The further details of the flick will be unveiled on Akshay Kumar’s 57th birthday, 9th September.
‘Housefull’ actor and Priyadarshan have worked together on many blockbuster hits. Some of the most notable films of the duo are “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” “De Dana Dan” “Bhagam Bhag” “Hera Pheri” and many more. The actor last worked with Priyadarshan in the 2010 film “Khatta Meetha.” It has been 14 years since they did a film assignment together.

Akshay Kumar is considered one of the busiest actors in the Bollywood industry, as he releases many films in a year. Recently, the actor was seen in the Independence Day release Khel Khel Mein. He also made a special appearance in Shraddha Kapoor Rajkummar Rao’s banger film Stree 2. He is all set to appear in Jolly LLB 3, Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn and Sky Force. It is also expected that he’ll start shooting for his film with Priyadarshan by the end of 2024.
