Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has set a new Guinness World Record for the most selfies taken in three minutes. The actor achieved this feat during a meet and greet event with fans in Mumbai, as part of the promotions for his upcoming film ‘Selfiee’ alongside co-star Emraan Hashmi. Akshay managed to take 184 selfies in just three minutes, breaking the previous record of 168 selfies held by James Smith from the US.

In an interview after the event, Akshay expressed his joy and gratitude towards his fans, stating that this was his way of paying tribute to them for their unwavering support throughout his career. He added that his fans have played a significant role in his success, and this was a special moment for him to acknowledge their support and love.
During the meet and greet, Akshay also grooved with his fans to the popular song ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ and posed for the paparazzi. The event was a massive success and garnered a lot of attention on social media, with fans and followers praising the actor for his dedication to his fans.

The film ‘Selfiee’ is an official remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Driving License’. Akshay plays a superstar, and Emraan plays a traffic cop in the movie. The plot revolves around Emraan’s character asking for a selfie with Akshay, and when the latter refuses, the fan decides to teach the superstar a lesson. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film to release, and with this new world record, Akshay has once again proved that he is a superstar in every sense of the word.
