New Delhi: Alia Bhatt deserves praise for speaking out on practically everything. She never concealed any aspect of her personal life, including her relationships, loves, dislikes, decisions, or preferences. Alia has talked about her first pregnancy while promoting her movies and is currently expecting. The actress has been outspoken about everything, including her love of reading, her odd sleeping habits, and her pregnant cravings.
The Darlings actor took to her Instagram handle earlier this morning and went on to announce that she will be launching her own maternity line and sharing a glimpse of the same tomorrow. Along with the announcement, she also penned a post on what led her to doing so.
Apart from emphasising the importance of comfort over ‘airport looks’ Alia mentioned that just because her body is constantly changing, her style doesn’t have to.
She continued, “You don’t know how you’re going to look or feel over the next few months and let’s be honest, not being able to find the right thing to wear can be stressful. Do I buy brands I already wear but in a bigger size? Should I raid Ranbir’s wardrobe? And just because my body is changing doesn’t mean my sense of style has to, right?”
“So I started making my personal style more bump-friendly. I added elastic to my favourite jeans, designed shirts that I didn’t have to share with my husband, and wore flowy dresses so as to not invite any unwanted belly-touching. Comfort took priority over any ‘airport looks’. What started off as me trying to fill a gap in my existing wardrobe, led to an entire maternity collection. And I can’t wait to give you a sneak-peek tomorrow!” concluded her post.
We can’t wait to see Alia’s new enterprise tomorrow after she debuted a line of clothing for children. We’re confident Alia will give this new collection her own unique stamp because she has always been a diva who makes modest and straightforward decisions.
