Amitabh Bachchan vs Rajinikanth: Vettaiyan Director Compares Indian Megastars’ Work Ethics, Check

Amitabh Bachchan vs Rajinikanth: One is a South Superstar, other is a Bollywood Megastar both Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan live up to their titles. They might have reached a similar level of success in their careers but their work ethics are completely opposite. How? Well, Vettaiyan director T.J Gnanawel unveiled the truth behind the way both of these actors approach their work. He drew parallels between the school students and these cinema legends by describing one of them as a frontbencher and the other as a backbencher. If you’re wondering who is who then let’s dive deeper into his conversation.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, Who’s the frontbencher and who’s the last?

As the highly anticipated Tamil film directed by TJ Gnanavel Vettaiyan is gearing up for its 10th October release, the star-cast and director himself are busy promoting it. In a recent interview, Gnanavel revealed that these two legendary actors approach work in a completely different style. He revealed Amitabh Bachchan is a frontbencher and Rajinikanth is a backbencher. TJ said, “Bachchan sir is the first bench student, Rajinikanth sir is the last bench student. Bachchan sir will make us worried on the first day. He will call meand make me read the scene for the next day. He will pinpoint and inquires. He’d ask me what he should do for the next day’s shoot. He’d be prepared the day before. If you take the scene paper to Rajinikanth on the day of the shoot, he’d casually say, ‘Shoot la paathukalam’ (Let’s see it during the shoot).”

This confession by the Vettaiyan director expresses the difference between the approaches. On one hand legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan works in hyper mode, he keep himself prepared for the shoots. On the other hand, superstar Rajinikanth shows a cool approach towards the shooting and tries to keep it down. This sets them apart from their work ethics.
