Manekshaw’s service to the Indian army and the nation at large is honoured in the movie. In addition to Vicky portraying Sam Manekshaw, Sanya Malhotra plays his wife in Meghna Gulzar’s film, and Fatima Sana Shaikh plays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. December 1st marked the movie’s theatrical debut.
