Animal first look: As Ranbir Kapoor lets his inner beast out, we decode the film for you

Animal first look: The first look poster of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has left both the Ranbir fans and cine-goers excited. Actor Anil Kapoor also plays a pivotal role in the film. On the special occasion, the Animal team, including director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and others took to their respective official social media handles and unveiled the first look poster.

“Presenting you the first look of ANIMAL. HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE,” wrote director Sandeep, as he unveiled the Animal first look. “#RanbirKapoor releasing the #Animal within, soon! This is such a killer poster love it,” reads Anil Kapoor’s Instagram post. “Animal first look is here… So so excited for you all to see this look..” wrote Rashmika Mandanna, as she shared the first look poster on her Instagram story.

Ranbir shed boy next door image

From the first look of the film, Ranbir Kapoor seems to shed his boy-next-door image. The highly anticipated project, which is touted to be a ‘violent’ psychological thriller, will see the actor in his first-ever action-packed role. The poster shows Ranbir lighting a cigarette, with a blood-coated axe in his hand. His thick beard, neck-long hair, a massive injury on his right arm, and blood-covered clothes have made the fans excited.

Tripti Dimri, Rashmika Mandanna in key roles

Animal cast includes Tripti Dimri too besides Ranbir  and Anil Kapoor While Rashmika Mandanna plays Ranbir ‘s love interest in the film, Triptii is in a pivotal character.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s previous outing was Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.

According to reports, Animal is a complete entertainment package and has layers of a psychological thriller. Makers are reportedly planning to create a film that appeals to audiences from all age groups, despite its strong content. It has a pan-Indian release in five languages including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada.
