Aryan Khan Bribery Case: On Monday (May 22), The Bombay High Court granted interim relief to former Zonal Director of Mumbai Narcotics Control Bureau of India Sameer Wankhede. He has been accused for extortion of Rs 25 crores in the Aryan Khan drugs-on-cruise case. The High Court has ordered the CBI to file its response by June 3. The next hearing of the case will be on June 8.
On Sunday (May 21), The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) had registered a case against Sameer Wankhede for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 25 crore to implicate Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan in a drugs-on-cruise case.
Sameer Wankhede demands special security
Talking to ANI, Sameer revealed that he and his wife have been receiving threats for the last four days. He said “My wife Kranti Redkar and I are receiving threats for the last 4 days and obscene messages coming on social media. I will write to Mumbai Police Commissioner today about it and demand special security,”
Sameer Wankhede is being questioned continuously in the matter of extortion in the drugs-on-cruise case. Talking to ANI outside the CBI office on Sunday, he said that he will totally cooperate in the investigation. He said, “I am fully cooperating with the CBI and will continue to do it. I answered whatever I was asked by CBI.”
