Aryan Khan: Star kid Aryan Khan has been in news for various reasons. On Tuesday he attended the screening of Anurag Kashyap’s Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat. Bollywood celebrities such as Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi also attended arrived for the event and happily posed for the shutterbugs outside the venue. However, Aryan chose to ignore the paparazzi and went straight inside for the screening of Vicky Kaushal’s film.
This attitude of Shah Rukh Khan’s son did not sit well with a section of online users and many of them said Aryan had ‘unnecessary attitude’. On the other side. Some users defended him too and said ‘the same media harassed him’ some months ago unnecessarily in the drugs-on-cruise case. Aryan was found not guilty.
Grabs attention for wrong reasons
Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat is set to be released on February 3. The film stars Alaya F along with Karan Mehta in the lead. The film was screened on Tuesday specially for a host of celebrities. Aryan Khan also came for the screening but grabbed attention for ‘ignoring’ the paparazzi who were seen shouting his name and asking him to pose for pictures outside the screening venue.
A paparazzo account shared a video where Aryan is seen ignoring the photographers’ request and instead walks inside the venue.
He was trolled on social media. One user commented, “The boy has grown up, full attitude.” Another one wrote about Aryan, “Only because of King Khan (Shah Rukh), he is getting that much fame and respect.” Yet another user, not happy with Aryan’s behaviour, wrote, “He is carrying so much unnecessary attitude… and media… don’t know why you always want to capture him. Please ignore such rude people, doesn’t matter if he is a star kid…” Another one commented, “He will stop and pose for the paparazzi, when his movie will be released.” A user also wrote, “Star kid k alawa khud ki koi identity hi nhi h aur attitude aise dikha rhe h jaise kahi k raja maharaja.”

‘Media harassed him’
Some users defended Aryan and one of them said, “Well the same media harassed him and passed judgements and stories, when he was framed (in a drugs-on-cruise case). He has gone through mental harassment and trauma, until he was proven innocent. So there’s nothing wrong if he is ignoring the media, who doesn’t give people privacy and is so insensitive.”
Aryan Khan was among eight persons arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in an alleged drug case onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai Coast on October 3, 2021. In May 2022, the NCB cleared him in the case, saying ‘no drugs had been found on Aryan Khan’.
Aryan, who aspires to become a filmmaker, will be making his debut as a writer under Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
