Avatar: The Way of Water Box Office Collection Day 14: The sequel to the highest-grossing film of all time, Avatar: The Way of Water, has begun its run worldwide on a strong note. The sci-fi drama is performing well in theatres, and based on its first-day box office, it appears to have the potential to become highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time. After only 14 days in theatres, the worldwide box office revenue for “Avatar: The Way Of Water” has reached $1 billion. It surpasses “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” which earned $1 billion in 14 days, to become the sixth-fastest film to do it.

The James Cameron-directed film made between Rs 41 crore on first Friday. This makes Avatar 2 the second-highest box office opener in the Indian market, trailing only the 2019 movie Avengers: Endgame, which made Rs 53.10 crore on its first day. The science-fiction drama surpassed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in India in just three days.
According to reports, James Cameron’s film continues seeing drop after holidays as the film collected approx. Rs. 9.50 crores on Day 14 (Thursday) in India. James Cameron’s film starts heading towards 300-crore mark. Avatar’s run making it even more stronger at the Indian box office and it seems like James Cameron directorial can easily break Avengers Endgame’s record of Rs. 365 crores. Now, the total collection stands nearly Rs 294 crores. Now, the makers will be eyeing to get closer to 300-crore mark as it has witnessed growth on weekend.
