Avatar: The Way of Water Box Office Collection Day 3: The sequel to the highest-grossing film of all time, Avatar: The Way of Water, has begun its run in Indian theatres on a strong note. The picture is performing well in theatres, and based on its first-day box office, it appears to have the potential to surpass Avatar as the highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time.

The James Cameron-directed film made between Rs 41 crore on Friday. This makes Avatar 2 the second-highest box office opener in the Indian market, trailing only the 2019 movie Avengers: Endgame, which made Rs 53.10 crore on its first day. The science-fiction drama surpassed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in India in just three days. According to Trade expert Ramesh Bala, Avatar: The Way of Water earned over $450 milllion(Rs 3,598 crore approx.) in the opening weekend. He tweeted, “#AvatarTheWayOfWater 1st Weekend BO : North America – $134 Million China – $59 Million Rest of the World – $242 Million Total – $435 Million.”
