Avatar: The Way Of Water: James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water, yet to be released, is already creating a stir in the market in India, especially in the south. Distributors and exhibitors are pinning all hopes on the film and are eyeing massive box office collection from the film. South India has have always supported big-ticket entertainers. With multiplexes equipped with new advanced technology, VFX-driven films always receive phenomenal response in the south.

Rs 100-150 crores for film release
As advance bookings for the film opened 5 days ago, ticket sales have skyrocketed in the south. Many top distributors of Tamil and Telugu industries are quoting around Rs 100-150 crores to release Avatar 2 in their states. Fan frenzy over the movie has been phenomenal encouraging them to take this decision.
The film is said to be the most expensive film to ever be made. James Cameron’s films have always done exceptionally well in India. Avatar: The Way Of Water is not just targeting to become the highest grossing import film in the country surpassing Avengers: Endgame but is expected to give big challenge to pan-India blockbusters like Baahubali 2, KGF: Chapter 2 and RRR released in recent times.

Film to release on Dec 16
Tickets are already selling like hot cakes. The top distributors from Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh have quoted astronomical prices of around Rs. 100 – 150 crores to release in their states while those in Kerala and Karnataka have also put in their bid to release the film in their state.
Exhibitors are already preparing for the massive release of the film as it might well become the biggest movie going event in Indian theatrical history.
Avatar: The Way Of Water will be released across India on December 16.
