Avatar: The Way of Water pre-booking report suggests historic collection
Akshaye Rathi, a film exhibitor, is “looking at some historic collections” with the release of Avatar 2. “I am sure it will grow into the highest grossing Hollywood film this year,” he told indianexpress.com. It will also be the highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time in the United States because James Cameron is more than just a filmmaker. I don’t believe anyone else creates immersive big-screen spectacles like he does. Even when the first Avatar was released two decades ago, it revolutionised the way technology is used in conjunction with storytelling to create great cinematic experiences.” He predicted that the film’s opening day gross would be around Rs 35-40 crore across all languages.
