Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Review: Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the newest film from Bollywood, has finally debuted. With Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar in the key roles, this action-packed movie looks to be an exciting experience for viewers. Action movie enthusiasts will be enthralled with this film because of its thrilling action scenes and moments that will leave them gasping for more. But everyone’s main concern is whether Bade Miyan Chote Miyan can compete fiercely at the box office with Ajay Devgn’s eagerly awaited Maidaan. Time will tell how these two movies compare, but for the time being, moviegoers may relax and take in the newest production in Bollywood’s action genre.
Story
The story revolves around two spoiled soldiers. Although their ages are very different, they are of the same rank. The plot starts in the present after a secret army “package” is looted by an arms dealer. Rocky and Freddy turn out to be the most qualified for this assignment. The story opens with the two killing a terrorist eight years prior, which everyone thought was dead. However, an epilogue from seven years prior exposes what happened to their friend Kabir. The story’s back-and-forth present presents a significant issue.
The antagonist of the movie has created a new technology that allows him to produce duplicates of strong fighters, going beyond the much-discussed mechanical soldiers for the army. However, India has advanced to the point where it possesses the technology necessary to thwart any outside assault. This tale, which oscillates between technology and technology, is turned into an action movie by Ali Abbas Zafar, where humour also comes from the two heroes’ repartee.
What Works?
Ali has kept action-packed throughout the whole movie. It’s a major task in and of itself to produce a big-budget movie with actors like Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar, who have struggled at the box office in their last six motion pictures. However, Ali has served amazing work to the audience. Amid action and gunfire scenes, Akshay’s comedic moment perfectly captures his essence. The action in “Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan” is the most noteworthy aspect of the movie. Through the employment of special effects that are not made evident in these instances, Ali Abbas Zafar has demonstrated his ability. The conversation in the movie is contemporary. Additionally, Akshay Kumar has perfectly timed all of the humorous remarks (punch lines) aimed at Tiger Shroff. The movie has extremely precise editing.
What Doesn’t Work?
In this movie, Tiger Shroff has made an effort to be more vulnerable. His looks appear to have altered as well. However, his action scenes continue to appear rote. Tiger and Akshay have made every effort to carry the weight of the entire movie. Had they had appropriate assistance, the happiness would have been altered. After the intermission, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character’s secrets are all revealed, and his overly talkative nature slows down the movie’s pacing. Although his appearance may have benefited the movie in South India, his role is also one of the movie’s weak points in Hindi. It appears from Manushi’s appearance that she is still not ready for acting.
BMCM and Maidaan
The films of Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar were released on the same day and due to this, both their films will be affected to some extent. Although Akshay’s film is of big budget, hence it is expected that this film will excite people more, but Ajay’s Maidan is also a film that people will like as an emotional rollercoaster. Both the films are getting good responses from critics and audiences, hence only their box office collection will tell which movie is bigger.
