The most anticipated Hollywood movies of 2023, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Grewig’s Barbie clashed at the box office on July 21. They have garnered a lot of praise from fans and critics. The mega-budget films are going popular worldwide and the Indian audience is loving both of them.
Just before the release of these films, fans started the term ‘Barbenheimer’ on social media which helped the films reach more audiences and this term is popular on social media platforms. A tweet is going viral on Twitter which shows us Barbenheimer at its best as Indian theatre played Oppenheimer with Barbie’s subtitles.
Indian theatre plays Oppenheimer with Barbie subtitles
Margot Robbie starrer Barbie and Cillian Murphy starrer Oppenheimer were premiered on July 21. They are making the box office ringing with their impressive collections. Fans are going to theatres to witness these blockbuster movies. A Twitter user Sapun took to his social media account to share that an Indian theatre played Oppenheimer with Barbie subtitles. Sharing the picture, he wrote in the caption, ‘friend of my cousin posted on insta that a cinema played oppenheimer with barbie subtitles.”
About Barbie
Barbie and Ken are now played by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Greta Gerwig directed the picture, which was released in theatres on July 21. The film follows Barbie as she finds the benefits and drawbacks of living in a human environment.
