They were friends inside the house and they will be together in the TV serial. Ankit Gupta is playing the role of a singer ‘Jahaan’ in this TV serial and it looks like he is working really hard to give his best to this show as he bruised his fingers during shoot of the a episode.
Ankit Gupta bruises his fingers while shooting
Ankit Gupta, who plays Jahaan in the TV show Junooniyat, has been putting his heart and soul into his character. However, the role comes with a price, as Ankit has been experiencing swollen fingers due to the constant strumming of the guitar for his character. Despite the challenge, the actor’s dedication to his craft is truly inspiring.
To bring authenticity to his role, Ankit has been learning how to play the guitar. He shared with India Today, “I am learning the basics of guitar strumming so that I can do justice to the character of Jahaan, who is a passionate and aspiring singer. I’ve never really played an instrument in my life, and this is the second time when I am holding a guitar. It’s a new experience and I will keep practicing until the guitar feels like an extension of my body.”
Ankit says “no pain, no gain”
Ankit’s commitment to the role extends to the painful consequences of his efforts. Some scenes require him to strum the guitar at a fast pace, which has left his fingers swollen and bruised. However, he remains undeterred, saying, “no pain, no gain.” He knows these scenes are crucial, and he wants to look natural as Jahaan.
