The Imlie actress, who drew the attention of Bigg Boss fans and netizens throughout her stay in the house, lasted more than 100 days. However, she gets ousted from the show with only one week left in the season. Sumbul Touqeer’s journey in the Bigg Boss 16 house was filled with ups and downs.

Sumbul Touqeer finally responded to charges that she was ‘obsessed’ with fellow candidate Shalin Bhanot in an exclusive interview with India Today. The charges, according to the young actress, left her heartbroken and afraid, as she had not expected them. For those who are unaware, the two had a wonderful friendship during the first few episodes of the show. However, Sumbul’s ‘obsession’ with Shalin was brought up during one of the Weekend Ka War episodes, leading to a series of unpleasant bouts on Salman Khan’s show.

Sumbul Touqeer says she was hurt

Sumbul Touqeer, who spoke up about the upsetting incident, remarked that the accusation was painful. “I was devastated since I had not anticipated this. I’ve always given my all to every friendship, and Isliye nahi karti ki mujhe badle mein kuch milega. Meri dosti mere nazron mein selflessness hoti hai. That is something I enjoy doing. Even if I cook for them, hang their clothing, or do anything else, khushi milti hai “She elaborated.

“I was hurt and thinking of my father at the same time. Jab yeh dekhenge, how he must be feeling. Or, unki kya haalat hogi? I was more worried about him. I was utterly befuddled. I can’t even recall how I felt at the time.” she concluded
