Bigg Boss 18: In a fresh social media storm, former Bigg Boss contestant and self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R. Khan, better known as KRK, has taken aim at actress Shilpa Shirodkar. Currently a contestant on Bigg Boss 18, Shirodkar’s participation and actions on the show have drawn criticism from KRK, who claims she is “willing to do anything to stay famous.” Known for his outspoken and often provocative remarks, KRK didn’t hold back, going so far as to declare that he wouldn’t participate in such activities even if offered a huge sum.
“Even if I’m Given 10 Crores, I Won’t Do This Work”: KRK’s Scathing Remarks
KRK made his latest statement in a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), expressing disdain for the “desperate behavior” he believes contestants exhibit for fame. “Even if Bigg Boss gives me 10 crores, I won’t do such dirty work. These boys and girls are so desperate in life that they are willing to do anything for money. Shame!” he wrote, targeting Bigg Boss 18 participants. The outspoken critic, who himself took part in Bigg Boss in 2009, insinuated that Shilpa Shirodkar, despite being a renowned actress in her prime, is now ready to compromise her self-respect for fame.
KRK Says “Desperation” Fuels Fame-Seeking in Bigg Boss
Shilpa Shirodkar, once a beloved name in Bollywood, has become a topic of debate among fans and critics alike as she navigates life in the Bigg Boss 18 house. KRK accused her of “disgraceful acts” on the show, suggesting that she has fallen victim to the desire to stay relevant, even if it means lowering her standards. “Shilpa was a big actress in her time,” KRK lamented. “Today she’s involved in such disgraceful acts in the Bigg Boss house. It saddens me to see her in this state of desperation.”
Many fans of Bigg Boss have viewed these comments as harsh, considering the challenging dynamics contestants face in the reality show’s intense environment. However, KRK’s remarks have also sparked debate about the lengths celebrities may go to retain fame and the emotional and professional costs associated with participation in a high-stakes show like Bigg Boss.
Does Bigg Boss Really Help Careers? KRK Shares His View
KRK’s comments also delved into his broader critique of the reality show’s influence on Bollywood careers. Having once been a part of Bigg Boss, KRK argued that the show’s impact on long-term success is minimal. “More than 360 people have done Bigg Boss till now. Where are they? Only 5-10 people are still active in Bollywood. The rest have been forgotten. This proves Bigg Boss doesn’t make anyone’s career; it ends it,” KRK stated, adding that most participants eventually fade from the limelight.
KRK’s Own Experience on Bigg Boss: A Point of Irony?
Interestingly, KRK’s own journey in Bigg Boss is a noteworthy part of his career, and for many, his stint in the show was what initially brought him widespread attention. While his opinions may provoke, they also bring a level of irony, given that Bigg Boss itself once served as his own platform for visibility. Though he continues to court controversy, KRK has often expressed pride in his identity as a “Trade Analyst,” a title he uses to justify his candid social media commentary.
