Fans and celebrities have expressed displeasure over this incident, calling for justice and raising concerns about the show’s producers. To add fuel to the flames, host Anil Kapoor’s handling of the matter has been negatively compared to that of former host Salman Khan.
The Incident that Shocked Fans
Viewers expected host Anil Kapoor to step in firmly when Armaan Malik hit Vishal Pandey over remarks he made about Kritika Malik. Salman Khan had shown fans how to handle these situations with strictness in previous seasons. But many are dissatisfied by Kapoor’s alleged lack of response. His hosting skills came under scrutiny from fans, who drew parallels to Salman Khan’s stint.

Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde also voiced her disapproval of Anil Kapoor replacing Salman Khan this season. Speaking to paparazzi, she remarked, “Host nahi hai toh mazaa nahi hai. ‘Jhakaas’ walo ke apne jagah alag hai. Baaki, Bigg Boss bole toh bhai bhai.”
Fan Backlash
Viewers took to social media to express their dissatisfaction. One user commented, “Abhi tak Salman sir hote to Vishal ko justice mil gya hota.” Another added, “Salman handle the show and contestant wisely, AK is not doing good i mean there is no any good hosting by him also the incident is not acceptable if salman khan is there than everything should be perfect.” Some fans even called for Kapoor’s removal, stating, “Anil Kapoor ko hatao Bigg boss show ko Bachao.”
Lack of Rule Enforcement
Bigg Boss is well known for its stringent guidelines, which specifically forbid physical assault. This season, it appears that the show’s producers ignored these rules. An incident where Vishal Pandey was called to the confession room and shown an AV revealing that he knew Lovekesh was the “Baharwala” further put into doubt the integrity of the show. After Bigg Boss revealed Lovekesh’s identity to every housemate and he was evicted from the show. However, this decision was changed by giving powers to the contestants for saving Lovekesh.
