Post some time, the girl group’s label, YG Entertainment shared a statement explaining Jennie was unable to complete the stage due to “deteriorating health”. Jennie, too, took to her Instagram to tender an apology to her fans promising a stronger comeback.

YG Entertainment in a statement said, “ Jennie was unable to complete the stage due to her deteriorating condition. We would like to extend our sincerest apologies to all the fans who have shown their support for Blackpink and those who attended the event. We Kindly ask for your understanding in this situation.”
It added, “Jennie expressed her strong determination to carry on with the performance until the end. However, following medical advice on site, we immediately took measures to ensure she receives ample rest and stability.”
“Jennie assures that she will recover as soon as possible,” the company concluded its statement by saying.
Jennie extends apologies on Instagram
Jennie also took to her Instagram handle to issue an apology as she wrote, “Dear Melbourne Blinks, I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to finish the show o Sunday. I am doing my best to recover atm. Your understanding and support mean the world to me. Thank you to everyone who came to our Melbourne show. Love you guys.”
In a video shared by fans on social media, Jennie is seen dancing alongside her band members Rose, Jason, and Lisa during a performance of their hit song ‘Lovesick Girls’. Suddenly, she begins walking off the stage with fans screaming ‘we love you, Jennie’. Jennie’s sudden departure left fans in a state of worry who had been sending comforting messages to their idol.
