Blonde Trailer: An amazing biopic of Marilyn Monroe finally got its premiere in Venice on this Thursday. The critics of the film divided over the traumatic treatment of the icon but they are praising a “ferocious” performance of Cuban star Ana de Armas as a lead. There has been a very high anticipation for the long-delayed Blonde, a Netflix production that goes deep into the childhood trauma and abuse that lay behind the sexualised image of 20th-century icon. The film is based on the life of American actress Marilyn Monroe.

I felt her presence, said Armas
This film is based on the book of Joyce Carol Oates, this film is a non-stop performance of artistic flourishes that will take you to the 20th century in depicting maternal violence, rape and a particularly shocking interaction with that time President John F Kennedy. Actress said to reporters that she could feel the presence of Marilyn during the shooting of her biopic because her character is so inspiring, and the shooting also includes shooting in the real homes where Monroe raised and died. “I felt very connected while shooting. I truly felt that she was very close to us, and she was with us.” Armas said.
Some people said that its showing exploitation of the icon. Some praised the team and said that “Blonde takes a blowtorch to the entire concept of the Hollywood biopic.”

Brad Pitt was the producer of the film and he was waiting for the red carpet premiere of the film. Along with him, Australian director Andrew Dominik spent 11 years trying to get the film made. He said that, “the project came alive when Arms came on board.”
