Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is unstoppable. It is making new records with every passing day as the film impressed the audience and they loved SRK in a different and fresh avatar for the first time. Even on weekdays, Jawan is earning more than any other Bollywood film of this year. The film minted ₹19.50 crore across all languages in India on Thursday and inched closer to the Rs. 400-crore mark. Atlee’s film collected ₹369 crore in the first week and this weekend the collection will skyrocket because holidays will give a boost to the collection.

According to preliminary estimates, Jawan has added another 19.50 crore to its already impressive domestic box office collection. Thus, the film’s adjusted total after Day 8 would be 388.72 crore, bringing it even closer to the fantastic milestone of 400 crore.

However, the division of the 19.50 crore into Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu is not yet known. This is a 5 crore decrease from the film’s earnings of 23.20 crore on Wednesday. Jawan, on the other hand, has kicked off its second week with a bang. Jawan grossed 369.22 crores in its first week in India, with the Hindi collection standing at 327.88 crores and the South (Tamil + Telugu) collection totalling 41.55 crores. It has collected more than Rs. 650 crore worldwide.

About Jawan

‘Jawan’ was released in theatres globally on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film, directed by Atlee, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay SethupathiNayantharaSanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone makes a cameo appearance.

The film is a commercial entertainer in which SRK plays both an intelligence officer and a burglar. Anirudh Ravichander composed for the film and made his Bollywood debut as a solo composer.
