Box Office Collection: Jawan has broken all prior records and set the bar high for the next Hindi films since its release. The film set records on its first day, earning Rs. 72 crore at the Indian box office. Following that, it became the first Hindi film to reach the 200-crore mark in three days. Jawan earned Rs. 287 crore in its first weekend of release. According to box office figures, Shah Rukh Khan’s picture outperformed Barbie and Oppenheimer in the United States, grossing over 600 crores globally.

The film went on to become the highest opening day in Hindi cinema history, grossing Rs 129.06 crore globally. According to trade reports, ‘Jawan’ made Rs 26.50 crore net in India on Day 6, September 12. As a result, India’s total collection now stands at Rs 345.58 crore. On September 11, ‘Jawan’ had an overall occupancy of 26.28 per cent.

SRK’s film has surpassed ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Pathaan’ to become the fastest film to reach the Rs 300-crore club (nett BOC Hindi). ‘Jawan’ broke this barrier on Day 6. On the other hand, according to trade expert Ramesh Bala, ‘Jawan’ has already crossed the Rs 600-crore milestone at the global box office.

‘Jawan’ was released in theatres globally on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film, directed by Atlee, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone makes a cameo appearance.

The film is a commercial entertainer in which SRK plays both an intelligence officer and a burglar. Filming took place in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. Anirudh Ravichander composed for the film and made his Bollywood debut as a solo composer.
