The latest reports from Sacnilk.com reveal that Gadar 2 achieved an impressive collection of ₹41 crore on its tenth day, propelling it closer to the remarkable ₹400 crore mark. Starring iconic actor Sunny Deol and the talented Ameesha Patel in lead roles, Gadar 2 has captured the hearts of audiences across the nation.
Collection journey so far
As per the early estimates by Sacnilk.com, Gadar 2 amassed a staggering ₹41 crore nett in India on its tenth day. This impressive milestone comes after the film’s week one collection, which stood at ₹284.63 crore. The momentum only intensified as the film entered its second weekend. On its second Friday, Gadar 2 secured ₹20.5 crore, and the numbers soared even higher on the following Saturday, with a collection of ₹31.07 crore. Cumulatively, the film’s box office earnings now stand at an impressive ₹377.20 crore.
A glimpse into Gadar 2
Gadar 2 is the highly awaited sequel to the 2001 hit film, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The original film, set against the backdrop of India’s partition in 1947, featured Sunny Deol as Tara Singh, a passionate truck driver, and Ameesha Patel as Sakeena. In Gadar 2, the story continues as Tara Singh embarks on a daring mission to rescue his son, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who is held captive in Pakistan. Set in Lahore during the year 1971, the film weaves a compelling narrative around Tara Singh’s unrelenting determination to bridge the gap between the two nations plagued by historic enmity.
