Prabhas’s amazing robotic automobile, Bujji, is largely responsible for the enthusiasm around the upcoming science fiction spectacle Kalki 2898 AD. Bujji is a high-tech marvel voiced by the great actress Keerthy Suresh that is Prabhas’s cool companion throughout the movie. The narrative behind Bujji’s production, however, is what really sets it apart. It is a storyline that combines the engineering prowess of renowned Indian businessman Anand Mahindra with the vision of a gifted director Nag Ashwin.
Anand Mahindra Tweets His Delight About Bujji’s Unveiling
Anand Mahindra expressed his happiness and pleasure on X (previously Twitter) after the official launch of Bujji. This is what he said:
“Fun stuff does, indeed, happen on X … We’re so proud of @nagashwin7 and his tribe of filmmakers who aren’t afraid to think big…and I mean REALLY big… Our team in Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai helped the Kalki team realise its vision for a futuristic vehicle by simulating the powertrain configuration, architecture and performance. In fact, the vehicle runs on two Mahindra e-motors powering the rear spherical wheel! And Jayem Automotives put it all together… Let the games begin…”
A Collaboration Ignited on Social Media
The Mahindra-Kalki partnership actually sparked by a 2022 social media exchange. In an attempt to get engineering knowledge for the movie, director Nag Ashwin tweeted his need for assistance from Anand Mahindra. Being an advocate of creative endeavours, Anand Mahindra answered right away, offering his assistance. This social media connection developed into a fruitful partnership that gave rise to the unique Bujji.
Jayem Automotives Assembles the Masterpiece
Bujji’s final assembly was given to Jayem Automotives. Bujji became a reality via the union of Jayem’s workmanship and Mahindra’s technical expertise.
Kalki 2898 AD: A Sci-Fi Spectacle Awaits
Kalki 2898 AD is getting set for its big release on June 27, 2024, with Bujji ready to go. Having a cast that includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, this sci-fi spectacle is sure to wow.
