BTS: It is not unexpected to see BTS serving in the army and for the ARMY. In simple terms, BTS will again be everywhere in the news because a new collaboration was announced in the early morning of 15th June 2024. The movie “Despicable Me 4” featuring the minions is scheduled for release on 3rd July in the USA. There is a possibility of an OST by BTS being released on the 21st of June.
BTS and Despicable Me 4
The Film Makers have been teasing the fans since the BTS’ Anniversary about their probable collaboration with the biggest K-pop sensation, BTS. They finally confirmed the speculation by posting a mini-animated video teaser of Minions dancing to one of the top songs of the group, Permission to Dance. Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet but the group is expected to release an OST for the movie. Despicable Me 4’s official Twitter handle has shared the date of the release of the collab, 21st of June 2024 but not about the content. Fans of the group, ARMY is over the top after knowing about the soon release of the collab.
BTS’ Other Big OSTs
BTS is currently the most gigantic boy group in the world. They are the biggest boy group in South Korea and are also known as Idol of idols. Their music is popular for its impeccable storylines and astonishing lyrics. Their songs feel relatable to the common public and that’s why, their fanbase is humongous. It’s Definitely You (by BTS’ Jin and V)
In 2017, BTS’ one of the most popular and handsome members, V made his acting debut with the star-studded K-Drama, Hwarang, he played the character of Seok Han Sung. The Rainy Days singer along with the groupmate, Jin sang this song written by Kim Yoo Kyung, about the emotions one goes through while falling in love.
Stay Alive (by BTS’ Jungkook and Suga)
The song ‘Stay Alive’ was produced by the talented and exceptionally skilled member, Suga. The golden voice of K-pop, Jungkook graced the song with his vocals. This song is the OST of the BTS Webtoon, 7 Fates: CHAKHO.
Christman Tree (by V)
This was one of the top OSTs released in the year 2021, Christmas Tree. Group member V complimented the lyrics written by Nam Hye Seung and Kim Kyung Hee by giving his voice to this beautiful song. This OST went viral that year.
Some Other OSTs
The members of the Global phenomenon have been the voice of various original soundtracks including ‘Film Out’ which is their Japanese ending theme song for ‘Signal the Movie.’ K-drama, Jirisan’s OST, ‘Yours’ was by Jin. V has sung for the famous K-drama, Itaewon Class. BTS has released a complete OST album namely BTS World: Original Soundtrack for the Netmarble Mobile Game of the same name, some of the famous songs are, Dream Glow, A Brand New Day and All Night. BTS members are known for their major musical skills in writing, rapping, dancing and singing. One needs to dive deep into their discography to analyse their skills.
