Vibe Jimin: BTS ARMY is protective of their boys. Be it influencers using the wildly popular supergroup for clout or monk sharing RM’s pics without permission, the fandom is always standing up for the septet. Now, BTS ARMY is thrashing BLACKLABEL, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment, for not giving Jimin due credit for his recent collaboration Vibe with Taeyang.
Why are fans lashing at BLACKLABEL?
Fans have made it to the point that BLACKLABEL gives due credit to Jimin. They have shared a few posts asking BLACKLABEL to credit Jimin as the new song on the music streaming platform Spotify comes under Taeyang’s name only. While the title states Vibe (feat Jimin of BTS), it does not show under the BTS singer’s name.

“This is actually so cheap of them. they not only taking jimin out of the credits for vibe; a song he has composed but also have pushed a sound without jimin as credit on tiktok as well #BlacklabelCreditJimin WE LOVE YOU JIMIN BLACKLABEL RESPECT JIMIN #BlacklabelCreditJimin,” one fan wrote.
“BLACKLABEL credit BTS JIMIN for “VIBE” & please make the song available under his Spotify profile, are 2 versions which doesn’t properly credit him. It’s affecting his monthly listeners, top artist position. RESPECT JIMIN’S WORK,” another person wrote.
Another infuriated ARMY wrote, “Hello @THEBLACKLABEL, we noticed Jimin is not completely credited on all versions of “VIBE” on Spotify, also the song is still not yet in some countries like Caribbean States. please fix this as soon as possible. Thank you. BLACKLABEL RESPECT JIMIN #BlacklabelCreditJimin”
Another BTS fan wrote, “Hey, @bts_bighit @HYBELABELStwt There are two versions of Vibe out of which doesn’t properly credit jimin, you are sharing link that Jimin not credited! I know Jimin is not ur fave but do your job properly he is still your artist! BLACKLABEL RESPECT JIMIN #BlacklabelCreditJimin”
Vibe was released on January 13. It marked Jimin’s first project post group’s brief hiatus announcement.
