According to sources, Jimin has left behind his fellow BTS’ member and has created a new record. The crooner has reached 1 billion views on Spotify in just 393 days, making him the fastest streaming record ever by a male K-pop solo artist. Earlier this record was achieved by Jungkook, a member of BTS. He achieved this feat in 409 days.
In addition, Guinness World Records has announced that Jimin has become the fastest solo male K-pop artist to reach the massive milestone of 1 billion streams on Spotify. According to Guinness World Records, Jimin’s debut album ‘Face’ which was released on March 24, 2023, is the main reason for achieving this feat.
Not just that, the massive success of the album has earned Jimin the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
