She said, “Everyone started calling me an unlucky girl and an unlucky charm because a couple of my films in Telugu did not work. Honestly, I would not say that I thought a lot about these films before signing these films, because I had no clue at the time.”
But Taapsee did not give up on her passion and talent. She worked hard on her craft and delivered some amazing performances in films like Pink, Manmarziyaan, Saand Ki Aankh, and Thappad.

According to a report by CNBCTV18, Taapsee charges between INR 1 to 2 crores per film, which adds to her impressive net worth. She is not only an actor, but also a businesswoman. She co-owns a badminton team in the Premier Badminton League and has invested in a wedding planning company.
Taapsee is now one of the most respected and sought-after actresses in the country. She has worked with some of the biggest names in Bollywood, such as Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. She even received a compliment from Shahrukh, who called her the best actress in the country while introducing her to some of his friends at his house, Mannat. Taapsee was last seen in the film ‘Dunki,’ with Shahrukh Khan in the lead. The movie was directed by Rajkumar Hirani, and it performed well at the box office.
