A Dream Chaser
Adah Sharma arrived in Mumbai at the early age of 16, undaunted by the obstacles that lay ahead and her ambitions as high as the ocean. But the road to celebrity was far from easy. Even with this early success, there were several setbacks along the way since her later projects didn’t make an impression. She looked to be in a condition of uncertainty for fifteen long years after her box office flops with “Phhir” and “Commando 2,” among other ventures.
Adah Rise to Stardom
However, destiny had other ideas for this strong actress. Sudipto Sen’s “The Kerala Story” turned out to be the pivotal moment in her career, in a startling change of events. Despite having a low budget of Rs 20 crore, the movie broke all previous records by making an incredible Rs 303 crore globally. She quickly rose to the highest level of success in 2023, outperforming box office of top actress like Kiara, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma.

Encouraged by her newfound success, the actress took on a variety of roles and starred in projects like “Commando” spinoffs and “Bastar: The Naxal Story.” She embraced the world of dark humour and delighted viewers with her performance in “Sunflower” with the gifted Sunil Grover. She is moving forward and is presently working on her next project, “The Game Of Girgit,” which will be released later this year.
