CBSE Board 2024: The schedule for the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2024 was released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The exam will start on February 15 and end on April 10 of 2024. On the official website, cbse.gov.in, are the dates.
Nearly 55 days will pass throughout the exam session. CBSE noted in its notice that, “all the organisations holding any examination are requested to fix the dates of their examinations keeping in view the schedule of board examinations.”
This year, the board exams for classes 10 and 12 were held from February 15 to March 21 and from February 15 to April 5, respectively. On May 12, the results were announced.
This year, Class 12 had an overall pass rate of 87.33 percent, while Class 10 had a pass rate of 93.12 percent. For the Class 12 board exams, more than 16 lakh students appeared, and for the Class 10 board exams, more than 21 lakh. The pass rate decreased in Class 12 by 5.38 percent and in Class 10 by 1.28 percent. In both classes, there were more female students who passed.
This year, the CBSE decided from publishing a merit list to prevent unhealthy student competitiveness.
